Wideband Low-Sidelobe Slot Array Antenna With Compact Tapering Feeding Network for E-Band Wireless Communications

In this work, a wideband low-sidelobe slot array antenna for wireless communication system at E-band is presented. The slots are excited by parallel feeding network where the Taylor distribution applied. Two types of unequal power divider with compact structures designed various output ratios to fit limited space. One integrated vertically inside 2 $\times $ 1 elements subarray using set pins asymmetrical offset. other type an E-plane T-junction unbalance impedance two ports. To avoid main lobe tilt and radiation patterns, be biaxially symmetrical, feed port placed in center back. A prototype fabricated brass measured anechoic chamber. It achieves peak gain 25.8 dBi fractional bandwidth 19.2% reflection coefficient below ?10 dB. patterns agree simulated very well, sidelobe level (SLL) lower than ?21
